  i just heard a story on npr about blood marrow donations among the black community, why it's so low and why it's desperately needed.

  the words "under god" were not included until 1954?.

  that men, when not in uniform, should remove any non-religious headdress with their right hand and hold it at the left shoulder, the hand being over the heart?.

  I knew it, except that up until my son's high-school graduation this year, I always thought that the hat was removed and placed over the heart. Now I know that the hat is held in the right hand and the right hand is placed over the heart, which puts the hat on the right shoulder.

  Thanks. I've never heard that. "Iinherent distrust of the medical community".

  I'll re-read the post in depth. Sounds a little paranoiac.

  OK, I'm Hooked, Now How Do I Keep Interest in Football?

  after every world cup since 1994, i have told myself that i need to really follow football.

  this game is truly a treat to the eye, yesterday's game had some great moments, though overall it has an ugly match and that was the fault of the dutch.

  the problem that i have encountered in following football is not being able to get good information on the game at the club and international level.

  That should keep you in the spirt of the game. And your neighbors may even get interested in the sport."

  Drink a shot every time either team scores. A fifth of good bourbon should last you several months during soccer season
